MPA JITNEY 

Call Mark at least one hour before the time you want to be picked up at 516-472-7004. He will arrange for the Jitney driver to pick you up (PLEASE do not call the men directly!)

JITNEY SCHEDULE (updated 5/25/2026)

MILL POND ACRES JITNEY SCHEDULE and RUNS

Daily Clubhouse Run – Monday through Friday, a pickup run to the clubhouse begins at 12:30PM. A return run for residents using the pool, gym, or other areas leaves the clubhouse at 2PM. Also, a return run for card and game players leaves the clubhouse promptly at 3:45PM.

Shopping Centers Run (includes locations in the Stop and Shop and Target Shopping Centers)

Monday: 10:45 AM pick up at MPA and the return trip from those destinations will start at 11:45AM

Wednesday and Friday: 1PM pick up at MPA with return trip from those destinations starting at 2PM or 3PM (inform driver)

Main Street Run with stops at the Post Office, Chase Bank, and Public Library. Call in advance for pickup at 10AM on Wednesdays and Fridays. A return trip pickup from those destinations will start at 11AM.

Special Runs: Small groups can schedule jitney service for special daytime events at the Port Washington Library, the Landmark, or Senior Activities center. Contact Mark at least 24 hours before.

LIRR Runs: Drop off and pick up for train service by arrangement.

Notes:

· Please call Mark at (516) 472-7004 at least one hour ahead to arrange pickup.

· Riders are encouraged to arrive at their designated stops for return pickup a few minutes early to ensure timely service.

· MPA Jitney operates 9AM to 4PM, Monday though Friday, as indicated on this schedule. Jitney service will be available for special club events as announced.

Project Independence will also provide taxi service ($5 or $10) to medical facilities.
Monday - Friday 10AM - 4 PM
